A repository is the fundamental element for storing and collaborating on projects on Protocol.Land.

Follow these steps to create a new repository:

  1. On the landing page of Protocol.Land, navigate to the “Create a new repository” panel, then click Create Repository.

  2. You will be prompted with a modal requesting details for the new repository.

  3. Type a name and an optional description for your repository.

  4. Choose between Public and Private repository as per your requirements. Private repositories are only visible to their Owners and Contributors.

  5. Preview the estimated cost of creating a new repository by hovering over the information icon.

  6. Click Create.

  7. You will be redirected to the repository page of your newly created repository.

  8. Each repository is created with a default README.md file that includes the title of the repository.
